European style and classic Venetian cuisine meet in the new
Rialto Restaurant.

The Rialto Tower is a Melbourne landmark best known for its plush offices and observation deck.

As part of its transformation into a premium shopping and dining precinct, well known restaurateur, Guy Grossi, was invited to open a new restaurant.

RED Design Group produced this creative pitch for Guy and his team. The new concept draws from Guy's family heritage in the Venetian region of Italy, but adds a contemporary Melbourne flavour to the design.

The richness of colours, the luxury of Venetian tiles and glassware, combined with natural textures like brick and timber.

The restaurant is planned to be located in the adjacent 5 star hotel and also features an outdoor café area in the laneway that separates Rialto Tower from the InterContinental Hotel.

RED's team delivered the entire concept from architecture and planning, to interior design and development of a new brand in all its applications.
